Another Kenyan Murder In Alabama
I don’t know what to think about all these murders involving Kenyans abroad. Such senseless violence. This only gives Americans reasons against immigration. I swear reading comments on the news sites can shock you. They basically see it as an Immigrants vs. Native Americans (whatever that is) issue. Nancy Wanjiru Kinuthia (above picture), 40, has given them more fodder for their cause. She stabbed Ruth Wawira Munene, 51. over 100 times! Talk about overkill!!! What a horrible way to go. Can’t wait to know what Kinuthia’s explanation is.
A Birmingham woman accused of stabbing her roommate more than 100 times was taken into custody Monday night at a Muscle Shoals residence, officials said. Nancy Wanjiru Kinuthia, 40, was taken into custody about 8:30 p.m. at a residence in the 300 block of Monroe Avenue, officials said. She is charged with murder in the death of Ruth Wawira Munene, 51, according to Birmingham Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Johnny Williams.
Authorities said Munene was found inside her Southside apartment in the 200 block of 21st Avenue South at about 11 p.m. Friday after friends said they were unable to get in touch with her.
Williams said officers had to force their way into the apartment when no one would come to the door. Once inside, he said officers found Munene unresponsive and called Birmingham Fire and Rescue, who pronounced her dead.
Williams said a warrant was issued for Kinuthia’s arrest and turned over to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Muscle Shoals Police Capt. Eddie Lang said he and two officers assisted the task force on executing the warrant Monday.
Lang said the task force had information that Kinuthia was staying at a residence in the 300 block of Monroe Avenue.
He said once the officers and U.S. Marshals arrived Kinuthia was taken into custody without incident.
Kinuthia is being held in the Lauderdale County Jail on a $200,000 bail. Source
