Trey Songz Shows Men How to Wear the Sports Jacket in GQ
Ooooh I love me some Trey! In the March 2012 issue of GQ, Trey has a 10 page feature dubbed ‘The Most Important Items In Your Wardrobe’, where he shows off the best sports jacket and blazer looks for the fellas. He rocks styles by J. Crew, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Emporio Armani & Etro. According to GQ, if you are a guy and you don’t already own a well-fitted sports jacket, it should be the first thing on your list to add to your wardrobe.
While getting ready for his 2012 release of his album ‘Chapter V,’ Trey dished to GQ about possibly changing up his music style in the future by following in Marvin Gaye’s footsteps and making music that changes lives. He also dished on why he thinks Twitter and Facebook take away the mystery of an artist’s “persona”:

Zimbabwe Born Nyasha Matonhodze is New Face of Louis Vuitton
Africans are doing big things around the globe! Zimbabwe-born British beauty, Nyasha Matonhodze, at only 16-years-old has been chosen as spokesmodel for Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter campaign. Following in the footsteps of Madonna and Scarlett Johansson, Matonhodze has been chosen to appear in the French fashion label’s autumn/winter 2011 campaign, shot by renowned fashion photographer, Steven Meisel.
“My eyes filled up with tears and I thought ‘Lord you are lucky!’” said Matonhodze of the moment she discovered she had been chosen to star as one of six up-and-coming models in Vuitton’s campaign, photographed in a vintage car at a disused Brooklyn aerodrome. “It didn’t actually hit me until I was sat in a Rolls Royce sitting eye-to-eye with Mr Meisel. Chris Brown The Artist
I love people who are not afraid to try new things. Chris Brown is quite the artsy personality. He recently teamed up with Australian artist, Kid Zoom, and created some artwork that showed off his creativity and crazy skills. In true Breezy style, he shared with us some of their collaborative work via twitter, including a graffitied skull backdrop and an image of Chris’ tatted arm holding a machete covered in red paint.
“I fell in love with art around the age of six. I always took pride in kind of winning the coloring contests in school,” explained the R&B singer. “Art was my only outlet. Aside from music, art is the thing that I like to escape. (more…)
How 50 Cent Made $10 Million Via Twitter
Twitter is a gold mine if you know how to use it to your advantage. Over the weekend, 50 Cent tweeted to his 3.8 million followers about investing in a penny stock HNHI, a distributor of headphones which include his new Sleek by 50 headphones. Some of his followers took his investing advice and purchased stock in the company.
Earlier we noted that shares of HNHI added $50 million in market cap today thanks to tweets from 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson. Obviously he’s being compensated. How much? A LOT. This SEC filing shows that he owned 30 million shares. Seeing as each one gained $.29 today, that’s nearly $10 million for one weekend of tweeting. How soon do you think he sells? Source

Bow Ties Are Back In Vogue!!!
I’ve never really been into bow ties. Martin Shikuku totally ruined it for me when I was growing up. However, when it comes to fashion, I’m quite open to trying new things. I’m totally amped that these days women too can play around with bow ties. I’m a regular reader of the blog Mr. Talented because he always features cool new stuff. How The Rich Fly
I’ve always wondered how celebrities always seem to have a private jet at their disposal, even when they don’t seem to have the finances necessary to own one. Well, the mystery is solved people. It’s something called fractional ownership.
NetJets, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, offers fractional ownership and rental of private business jets. With fractional jets, customers (referred to as “owners”) buy a “share” of a plane, rather than an entire plane. The price is pro-rated from the market price of a full aircraft. Owners then have guaranteed access (50-400 hours annually or a certain number of days of the year, depending on share size) to that plane with as little as four hours’ notice. Fractional owners pay a monthly maintenance fee and an “occupied” hourly operating fee. Usually the latter is charged only when an owner or guest is on board, not when the plane is flying to a pick up point, or returning to base after completing a mission. (more…)

Most Expensive Car Wash
I love my car. It takes me from point A to point B. It may give me trouble sometimes like refusing to start for no reason, deflated tyres at the most inopportune moments, etc. At times like that I may curse it like it was a red-headed step child or even give it a slight kick. However, I still love my car.

Hey everyone! I’m baaack!!! Was on vacation for a while and it seems so much has happened. I’ll start off with pics of Lebron James’ new crib. Figured I’d provide inspiration to make that money. I’m a nut for pretty phones. But there’s a limit to how much I’m willing to part with. The phone in the picture above is a creation of a company called Vertu. Vertu is a British-based manufacturer and retailer of luxury mobile phones. The company is an independently run, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia. World's Most Expensive Soccer Ball
This World Cup mania is getting out of control. A South African jewelry company, Shimansky, has created a life-size soccer ball made of 6,620 white diamonds and 2,640 black diamonds totaling 3,500 carats. The soccer ball took nearly three months to make and is estimated to hold a value of $2.59 million. The ball is set to make its world debut at the FIFA World Cup where it will be unveiled by jewelry designer Yair Shimansky. Mr. Shimansky is currently in talks with a European soccer club about selling the Shimansky World Cup ball to them as a 2010 commemorative display piece for their club. (more…)
Iman Receives Fashion Icon Award
Iman was honored with the Fashion Icon Award on Monday night by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. This is an award given to “an individual whose signature style has had a profound influence on fashion.” Iman is almost 55 years old but could even pass for twenty something… I’m jealous
She was recently featured in a New York Times article which chronicles her journey from Nairobi, where she was attending university when she was discovered by photographer Peter Beard, to her current success as an entrepreneur, covering her three decades as a model revered by fashion designers and publications, as well as her marriage to David Bowie.
She tells the well-documented story of how she arrived in New York in 1975, the daughter of a Somalian diplomat. She spoke five languages but had never worn makeup or high heels. (more…)
