Halle Berry Covers Ebony Magazine
Halle Berry is featured on the cover of the March 2011 issue of Ebony Magazine. This is right on time as Halle is smack in the middle of a custody dispute with her daughter Nahla’s father, model Gabriel Aubry. They’ve been trading accusations back and forth for a couple of weeks now. Gabriel’s camp has accused Halle of being overly controlling and going into crazy bouts of anger. Halle’s camp has hit back with accusations of him calling her the “N” word. There have also been reports that he would go off the handle when his daughter was referred to as being “black”.
It really amazes me that one of the most beautiful women in the world finds it difficult to have a successful relationship. I used to think the men were mad to let a hottie like Halle go but now I’m not so sure. Could Halle be a difficult person to deal with? I wish I were a fly on the wall. In the interview, she opens up about her thoughts on her beauty, interracial relationships and considering her daughter to be black:

What I think is that that’s something she’s going to have to decide. I’m not going to put a label on it. I had to decide for myself and that’s what she’s going to have to decide-how she identifies herself in the world. And I think, largely, that will be based on how the world identifies her. Tiger and Elin Officially Divorced
We all saw this coming. Elin would have been stupid to stay. Tiger and Elin reached a settlement agreement way back at the beginning of July — July 3rd and 4th. The final judgment papers state that the marriage “is hereby dissolved because it is irretrievably broken.” The terms of the divorce settlement were not released to the public, but it is speculated that Elin will receive anywhere from $100 million to five times that amount in assets. Elin has also been granted her request to have her maiden name restored — Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren. You can keep your name Tiger! The two will have joint custody of their kids, ages three and one. Both Tiger and Elin have each completed a 4-hour parenting course.

Elin Woods' Claws Come Out!
Tiger Wood’s wife Elin is attempting to dig deep in his pockets to make him pay for cheating on her with multiple women. According to reports, she is demanding $750 million in their divorce settlement. Tiger’s entire fortune is only worth $600 million, according to the 2009 estimates of Forbes Magazine.
Is that too much to pay for cheating? If I were Elin, I’d also be salty as hell about him getting caught and the family life thrust into the media by HIS actions. Or maybe she’s starting her bid high so she can settle for an acceptable amount. Either way, she is about to make bank! And he is about to learn the meaning of facing the consequences of your actions. Either way, I predict this will be the highest divorce settlement in history! Let the games begin… *drumrollplease* 
Reports are now stating that Elin Nordegren, the wife of golf superstar Tiger Woods is asking for $750 million dollars from Woods as part of their divorce settlement.
Additionally, she wants full custody of the kids and will not agree to a confidentiality clause. The confidentiality clause would prevent her from ever writing a book or doing interviews about the break-up. (more…)

After Siohvaughn’s lawsuit, Gabrielle Union has released a statement through her attorney. This is just too messy… For Ms. Union, this is worrying because such scandals, especially for women, are not looked on favourably by the public…which would affect her career. And we all know her career is not yet as hot as she’d like. BTW Why are there double standards? Do you think it’s wrong to judge Gabby harshly for breaking up a marriage? Drama: Dwayne Wade's Wife Sues Gabrielle Union
Just when you think celebrities cannot shock you, they go and top their ish with some more dumb ish. I had decided not to post any more celeb divorce stories. But this ish right here!!! So just to catch you guys up, there have been rumours for years that Gabrielle Union is NBA player, Dwayne Wade’s jumpoff. I’ve generally given that rumour a mean side eye…until now. Seems Siovaughn has decided to sue Gabrielle for “alienation of affection”. Before you laugh, just keep in mind that there does exist such a law. Furthermore, remember that woman who successfully sued her husband’s jumpoff for breaking up her marriage? Back in March, Cynthia Shackelford, 60, won a $9 million judgment against Anne Lundquist, 49, for wrecking her marriage. A judge decided that Shackelford was entitled to millions for her emotional distress and denial of access to her husband’s affection due to Lundquist’s interference. Sooner or later, Gabrielle Union was going to get caught up in this mess. Ladies, a married man is not someone you want to mess with, even if he is separated from his wife. I’ve avoided blogging about the whole Sandra Bullock – Jesse James mess because, quite frankly, I’m tired of talking about unfaithful celebs and their issues. Well I’ve avoided it until now… This was just mind boggling. It appears that Sandra Bullock’s second mistress faxed a letter of apology to Sandra Bullock!!!
Jesse James‘ alleged second mistress Melissa Smith sent an apologetic fax to Sandra Bullock’s agent’s office Sunday, regarding her alleged affair with the Oscar-winner’s hubby. Smith wrapped up the fax providing The Blind Side star with her e-mail address and phone number, saying: “From the bottom of my heart, I hope you accept my apology sincerely. Please contact me if you wish to discuss on the phone or in person.” Radar Online

Tiger and Elin to Divorce?
So according to Radar Online, Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin, met with a divorce attorney shortly before flying to Arizona. After all his shennanigans, I don’t blame her. There is no way I would stay after all that stress and embarassment. Just think, if she were in Africa about 200 years ago, she would not even be able to go chota maji without hearing whispers from mamas at the river. I can just hear it now:
Mama Wangeci: Tiger alikuwa anakula vitu vya Mama Mwangi.
Mama Njoki: Wacha hiyo. Kwanza ungemskia akitongoza Ciku! Ata mimi alinijaribu lakini mimi ni Mkristo.

Divorce and Money…
This Monday, Kelis and Nas went to court over their divorce and Nas got screwed big time. Just take a look at these figures:
According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nas had to immediately fork over $47,249.42 in back child support and $40,454 in back spousal support.
The judge also ordered Nas to pay $10,000/month in spousal support until he pays off the $299,015.50 he owes Kelis.
Nas also has to pay 90% of Kelis’ legal fees in the amount of $155,787.28.
Lastly, Nas has to pay $48,549.83 to cover Kelis’ accounting expenses. TMZ
Now I know I’ll piss a lot of ladies off with my views. I think this sort of thing just pushes our equality movement 100 years back. If you talk to many men with their own paper, you will hear them being more skeptical about marriage simply because they don’t want to lose their hard earned money just because they can’t get along with their wives. The reason for Usher's divorce is…
…Usher asked Tameka for a DNA test… Rumor has it that Usher didn’t believe this child, Naviyd Ely Raymond, was his son. I don’t blame him. That kid looks nothing like Usher. Usher’s firstborn, Usher Raymond V a.k.a “Cinco”, looks exactly like his father. Especially when you consider that Tameka is the mother to both these children. I always wondered why Usher would be seen out & about with only one of his children and not the other.

Shaunie O’Neal is a bad bish…
TMZ has learned Shaunie filed legal papers yesterday in L.A., even though the couple lives in Florida. The petition says although Shaunie is filing for legal separation, she intends to file for divorce. She lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for separation.We’re told Shaunie pulled her kids out of school in Florida several days ago and they are with her now in L.A.
I have to give it up for Shaunie O’Neal who is the baddest bish there is IMO. Background story goes like this: Shaq filed for divorce against Shaunie in 2007, claiming that she was cheating on him, being secretive about her assets and demanded that she provide proper accounting of all funds, stocks and bonds acquired during their marriage. (She was stashing cash throughout her marriage) A few months later Shaunie announced that they were back together stating “We’ve both learned a lot and know that our family comes first and that’s the main thing for both of us. Neither one of us could probably answer why we were getting [divorced] in the first place.” (more…)
