Linda Muthama…Crazy In Love???

The question: Is Linda Muthama crazy in love or is she just selfish? I’m not going mad. Pulse is in the habit of making me wonder about the mental capacity of some of our so called “celebrities”. Either that or Pulse has reporters who ask all the right questions to catch the subjects off guard. If you don’t understand me, have a peek at the Shaffie Weru episode.

Anyway, I digress. A week or so ago, news spread like wildfire that Linda Muthama was pregnant with Nyambane a.k.a. Walter Mong’are’s child. Why the hullabaloo??? Well, he just happens to be married with a child or children (not sure). Now, any other woman would go direct into hibernation (I applaud Valerie Kimani for that). But not Ms. Muthama. She has come out swinging, denying the pregnancy, but not the relationship:

Pulse: You have had a long affair, almost six-years, with Walter Mong’are aka Nyambane. Is it a business relationship, a love affair or both?

Linda: Walter, as I prefer to call him, has been my music manager for long. He has supported me through my musical education and is the only man around my life.

P: How did you guys connect?

L: When I meet someone, I like to think of what I can get from life. I met him way before Tusker Project Fame (TPF1). Good people make their intentions known from the start. We had chemistry from the word go.

P: You haven’t been shy to divulge your affectionate feelings publicly which makes many people believe you are dating him…

L: Well, what I can say is that Walter is not a mpango wa kando. Our relationship is deeper than that. I’m his friend and girlfriend… everything put in a box. He understands me beyond any other man.

P: Walter is a married man with children…

L: I am aware that he is a married man and I respect that. His wife and kids are my close friends and they understand that I am part of him. We talk a lot with his wife.

P: You host him often in your house. What do we make of this?

L: I said he is my manager and friend. Let’s just say he frequently comes over for dinner.

P: Are you pregnant with his child?

L: I’m not pregnant with his child or any other man’s child. The whole radio interview was picked out of context. I am meeting people in shopping malls and at the gym who go like; “whoa… congrats” then I ask, for what? Do I look pregnant anyway?

P: Would you, in this case, consider a Linda – Walter baby now that you have stated there is no other man in your life?

L: I don’t see any other man on sight! You can be sure I wouldn’t mind. He is an intelligent and brilliant man. I am very ambitious. Can you imagine what kind of kid that would be?

P: Would a Walter baby leave you a single mother or his second wife?

L: Single or married…whatever the status will be, we will cross that bridge when we get there.

P: How do you think this will affect your music career?

L: I plan my life. My 12-track album is out now and I want to push it before then. I have a weekly show at the Jacaranda Hotel that I host with the Altimate band. I am already teaching music and working on establishing the Altimate Music Academy. Things are looking up for me.

P: What is the one thing about Walter that you reckon his fans don’t know?

L: He is a simple guy who likes ugali and osuga (bitter greens) as well as mala. The stuff is easy to make and I have gotten to like the same with time. -Pulse

This chick is not serious. Actually I would go as far as saying she’s delusional. She’s so arrogant and unapologetic!!! It is said that women are their own worst enemies. Linda is a classic example. Instead of uplifting another woman, she inserts herself into a family that just may be broken up by her shenanigans. I don’t purport to know the details of the relationship between Nyambane and his wife, but I do know that, as a woman, I would not take kindly to another woman sleeping with my husband, and going on to brag about it in the media! I would have to think about my family, and the effect it would have on my kids. If the children are school going, they definitely will hear this mess from their school mates (you already know they have bragged that Nyambane is their dad).

To make matters worse, please look at this quote from Linda’s facebook profile:

My vision is to positively Impact and change people’s lives through my talent. A lot is coming from me to you.Firstly, my Imajination Album,Secondly,The story of my life that will let you know what really moves me and what I stand for.Thirdly,My passion is women and children specifically those that have been through all aspects of domestic violence.I will be launching my foundation very soon and lastly I will also post my five year strategic plan that we can follow through together.Be blessed!

Excuse you Linda, but there is nothing positive about what you’re doing no matter how much ugali, osuga and mala you make for this man. The person who needs blessings is you! Wait for him to sort himself out on the home front. If he and his wife decide they cannot be married anymore, then by all means, be a vulture and swoop in for the carcass, or Walter, as you like to call him. But let them be for now so they can sort their issues out without the distraction that is you. I have a few choice words for Nyambane as well but I’ll save them for later…msssssccchhhheeeeewwww

P.S. As my mum was asking, how exactly are you tuned (for lack of a better word) by Nyambane???

  1. Amarie, I always say that being open-minded goes both ways. You have to be open-minded about close-minded people, get it?

That interview was bizarre, enyewe. Lakini me I attribute her trumpeting her “victory” from the rooftops to naivete on her part. Unajua when you’re still a “spring chick” you believe that you’re on top of the world and life will always smile upon you. Bado hajatambua kwamba mshindi wa leo is the one who’ll be crying kesho. Let her enjoy being in love, when the pheromones punguka she’ll be seeing reality in stark terms.

I couldn’t agree with you more, I actually thought the same that she’s arrogant even before I finished that interview and delusional. My blog is perfect for delusional of grandeur kabisa.

Did Nyambane learnt any lessons on Wanjiru’s unfaithfulness in his marriage? I wish all ladies would be in the same shoes of real Nyambane’s wife, what she is going through over an intruder Jezebel homewrecker who thinks she is better off than her is just dispeakable, but one thing that I promise this intruder that she will not escape the wrath of God entering into a covenant marriage between Nyambane and his wife, infact there is no happiness she has both her and Nyambane,if Nyambane didnt love his wife he could have divorce her and marry a new wife but because he loves and trust her,she is still the flower that never withers….God help us

Linda SHAME ON YOU! You are opportunistic, would u love Nyambane if he were poor. You are killing someone emotionally and stupidly publicing it.A man cheating on his wife is part of domestic violence,by the way only idiots and home breakers would love your music.Nyambane is so selfish,he cant even think of how his wife feels about his mpango wa kando thing.I think I HATE YOU!!

all of you teteaing Nyambanes real wife as you call her,do you even know what the deal is…if i was her,id be better knowing who my hubby is going out with as opposed to mpango wa kando.that way, everybody is happy.why dont people ever mind their own business.we all know men are polygamous there is no way to sugar coat that.Linda just happens to be the other woman and she chooses not to live in the dark about it!!!you all deal with it!!!!

Okay, This is the most craziest homewrecker I have ever seen. For the love of God, its one thing to have an affaiir with a married man, but to proudly display and acknowlegdge so with such arrogance is a wack different story.. Linda if you need a man. Get your own. Kwani are all single guys dead?? And You nyambane, you have a wife who’s been with you all these years, so wanna crush all that for these ruthless woman?? Who clearly doesn’t care abt you and will suck you dead and drop you like a hot potato. Nyambane if you can scoop a thing or two from me is. Stay clear of this woman and commit to your wife… I cannot believe this Bitch..

In the same position as Linda Muthama and very unapologetic. Why blame her? And not the man himself?

It is amazing that people always view the woman (read Linda) as the “homebreaker” what of the man who is leaving his “real wife” in search of the girl (s)..what should we call him? We and especially Africans glorify men who have mpango wa kando whilst criticising the women….(if you are a Christian please read your bible and see how JC dealt with the adullterous womans’ case). Nyambane, Linda and the “real wife” know about each other. They have chosen to be traditional Kenyans where polygamy is not immoral (muslims too marry more than one wife–!!!). Noone should box Nyambane in their own “moral space” and i put ” ” on the word moral because so many of us who claim to be moral just because we are not second wives or mpango wa kandos, are immoral in our thoughts and other deeds. If you are a christian writing such messages of hate–reconnect with your source the bible and learn that judgement belongs to God and Him alone. Now if you are not a Christian but a Kenyan (african)–then reconnect with the African tradition— most African cultures allowed for polygamy (and even polyandry…). Let the two live there lives the way they know best….at least in this case both the man and woman intend to offer the children a sense of identity and belonging! — at least I hope they will….

  21. shut up guys…..i see no mistake in linda bt in nyabane…..he is the one who vowed to his wife not linda. he is the one who knows the vows he is breaking…linda was not there…linda did not wreck his home he did….as a matter of fact linda does not go to his house…he is the one who goes to her house. so how do you try to say a tree wrecked ur car and u r the one who hit the tree….i don get why pple point a finger on the woman when the man is the one to be blamed coz he knew he was married. na nyinyi wanaume kwani nyinyi ni watoto mnaacha watoto wenu mnaenda mhanyo..
