Beyonce graces the latest cover of Billboard Magazine, which was unveiled just days after it was announced that she would be receiving Billboards’ first ever Millennium Award. She is scheduled to receive the honor at the May 22 show, which will air on ABC at 8-11pm ET/PT from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Many
haters people are speculating that she must have bought the award because it never existed before and they feel there are other more deserving legends for the Millenium Award. Oh well…you can’t please everybody right?

Rapper Eminem, newcomer Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga top the 2011 Grammy nominations list released yesterday. Eminem racked up 10 nominations! Newcomer Bruno Mars earned a total of 7 nominations, including 3 nods for his collaboration with B.O.B titled “Nothing On You”. Jay-z earned six, newcomer B.O.B earned five, and Drake & Rihanna earned 4 a piece.
R&B Diva Monica received 2 nominations which included “Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for ‘Everything To Me’, and “Best R&B Album”. Beyonce snagged 2 (including her “Telephone” collab with Lady Gaga), Alicia Keys snagged 3 (all for her hit song “Empire State Of Mind” w/ Jay-z). R. Kelly earned 2 (Best Contemporary R&B Album, & Best Traditional R&B Vocal for “When A Woman Loves) and Nicki Minaj also gained a grammy nomination for “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group – My Chick Bad w/Ludacris”.
Canadian stars Justin Bieber and Drake are nominated for best new artist, along with U.K. acts Florence & the Machine and Mumford & Sons, and jazz artist Esperanza Spalding. Chris Brown is nominated for 3 Grammys for Best Contemporary R&B Album (Graffiti), Best Rap Collaboration (“Deuces”) and Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group (“Take My Time” with Tank). Adam Lambert, last season’s American Idols runner-up, performed a raunchy performance at the American Music Awards Sunday night, interrupted by a quick tumble on stage. Lambert alternately had a dancer on a leash, had a dancer’s head grinding against his crotch simulating oral sex, and had a hand on his own crotch. He also made out with a male band member and flipped his middle finger.
